Selection principles and bitopological hyperspaces

چکیده
In this paper we continue to research relationships between closure-type properties of hyperspaces over a space X and covering X. For Hausdorff denote by 2X the family all closed subsets We investigate selection bitopological (2X, Δ1+ , Δ2+) where Δi+ is upper Δi-topology for each i=1,2.

Bitopological Representations
A class B of bitopological structures is a bitopological representation of a class C of continuous mappings of topological spaces if C coinsides with the class of all bicontinuous mappings f : (X;) ?! (X 0 ; 0) for all ; 0 2 B. The paper contains a short survey of old author's results and some new results on bitopological representations of classes of metric space mappings.
متن کاملProducts and Selection Principles
We study when the product of separable metric spaces has the selective screenability property, the Menger property, or the Rothberger property. Our results imply The product of a Lusin set and (1) a Sierpinski set always has the Menger property (Corollary 12); (2) a γ-set always has the Rothberger property (Corollary 13). All topological spaces considered in this paper are assumed to be separab...

متن کاملSemi Separation Axioms and Hyperspaces
In this paper examples are given to show that s-regular and s-normal are independent; that s-normal, and s-regular are not semi topological properties; and that (S(X),E(X)) need not be I even if (X,T) is compact, s-normal, s-regular, semi-T2, and T0. Also, it is shown that for each space (X,T), (S(X) ,E(X)), (S(XO) ,E(Xo)), and (S(Xs0) ,E(Xs0)) are homeomorphic, where (X0, Q(X0)) is the T0-iden...
متن کاملUniform Hyperspaces and Hausdorff Completions
We consider the uniform hyperspaces of a uniform space X, its associated Hausdorff space sX and its Hausdorff completion nX, and investigate the relationships between the functors s and n and the various hyperspace functors. Thus Theorem 1 says that there is a natural isomorphism between the functors TTE and TTETT, where ii'A'is the space of non-empty closed subsets of X, endowed with the Hausd...
